Main Idea
We developed this project for Paul Anthony Joice who is an Irish artist that make not only stunning paintings but also is an architect. He wants to have a modern website to display his works.
The website should allow to add new artworks, create blog articles, should have information about the artist and ability to contact him. The visual requirements were high.

Design
04We offered to use the paintings as part of the UI design. This approach will turn the website into an interactive gallery.
We wanted paintings to be a little chaotic, that's why we mixed paintings of different sizes. It added to the feeling of being in a gallery.
As little texts as possible allowed us to keep the focus of the users on the paintings.

About Me
We added a page on which the artist could tell more about himself, his struggles and where the inspiration comes from.
The page is in minimalistic style. We used few images to add more colors in between of the text blocks.

Paintings
Each painting has it's own page on which the author can tell the story behind the painting and show the creation process. Each painting on the website can be seen in the high definition mode so user could enjoy every tiny detail. We added a blog to the website so author could share his thoughts and news with the visitors. Articles can be shared in social networks.

Summary
The designs turned out stylish and elegant. The website is fully adapted for screens of any size. We've tried to take into considerations all the ideas Paul had and added them into the website.
